Besides Blank stackers and special stackers for dedicated applications, BTU offers the Purlin Stacker.

Purlins are the steel "ribs" of a steel building, to which the cladding is attached. They can be up to 40 meters long with a weight up to 750kg. There are many different types of purlins; Cees, Zeds, U's with or without downturn lips in all their variations, which all can be hhandled by the BTU Purlin stacker. Every type and dimension of Purlin has its own stacking format, from stacks to bundles of stacks.

The BTU Purlin stacker is designed to deal with a high amount of bow, camber and twist within the purlins. World's first Purlin stacker designed by BTU Technology has unheard specifications interms of speed and flexbility. With thhe BTU Purlin stacker there are no health and safety hazards anymore with small orders. All chosen electronic components are based on maximum durability.

Functionality

After the roll former the run-out belt feeds the Purlin into the Purlin stacker. The run-out belt can detect and correct angled run out. The Purlin stacker picks up the purlin under this angle and stacks the purlin straight on to the stacking area. The created bundle of purlins can be strapped ready for further transportation. Depending on the customers requirements, BTU can offer a highspeed version of the profile stacker as well as a flexible version.
